Does any one happen to know wut was fictional in the following movie?

There's a book yknow. So read that and then it should probably clear some things up. And FYI the author lives in Auburn (<--- Awesome!).

Problem is in my u.s. history class we have to do a project that is worth 300pts which is basically the grade for that quater and its on hollywood vs. history and i cant really find stuff that wasnt true in the movie thats why i am asking for help... so plz help me out
