Whoa, haven't been back since you stumped me with that flippin' "Do the Right Thing" quote. I knew I'd heard it before, but I couldn't get "White Men Can't Jump" outta my head. Oh well, I KNOW I've got this one: Batman Begins
"Why?" "I'm an angel. I kill firstborns while their mamas watch. I turn cities into salt. I even, when I feel like it, rip the souls from little girls. And from now till kingdom come, the only thing you can count on, in your existence, is never understanding why."

quote: Well, I guess nobody else is gonna take it. So, I will, Punch Drunk Love
Not sure how I missed this one. I've seen Punch Drunk Love probably 4-5 times. I knew it sounded familiar, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. It needed to be yelled for me to get it, I guess.

Are you serious?! It's a classic 80's moment! Okay, okay, here's a little more from the conversation. Geez, you guys are makin' me feel really old. If you don't get it now, I don't know what to say except, "SEE MORE MOVIES!"
"What do you make of this?" "Hmmmm. Wood pulp, plant, vegetable, tomato, water, salt, monosodium glutomy." "Ooookay, thank you! Now you're talkin' like a robot." "And resembles...look like...butterfly, bird, maple leaf!" "Where? HOLY SH*T!" "No sh*t. Where see sh*t?"

I know this one. Donnie Darko. I don't know what I think of that movie, yet. It's either incredibly stupid, or incredibly profound. OK, I haven't read through all 36 pages, so I don't know if this one's been on. "You know how to whistle, don't you? You just put your lips together and blow."
--------------- My basic objection to religion is not that it isn't true; I like plenty of things that aren't true. It's that religion grants its adherents malign, intoxicating and morally corrosive sensations. -Philip Pullman

Hmmmm. They did say this in "Scream", but that was in reference to PSYCHO. So, I'll go with that one. "Have you seen my mother? Isn't she beautiful?""Yes.""She's sick with baby. Did you notice?

Okay, give me a minute. I was thinking it might've been too soon. Also the movie isn't in english, so this line was a subtitle. Since Mark F had peeked in here a few times, I figured he'd, at least, take it. He's seen the movieas many times as I have (if not more), I believe . It was "Pan's Labyrinth". You guys have really gotta check this one out! "I can't live the buttoned down life like all of you! I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"
