My wife just brung me "Superbad" the Unrated Extended Edition. I haven't seen it yet, but I've enjoyed every Apatow Production film so far. The one thing that sold me? Michael Cera. He cracks me up! I can't wait to watch this after I put the kids to bed! Hopefully I won't be disappointed like I was with another flick starring one of my favorite actors from 'Arrested Development': "Let's Go to Prison" Good gravy, was that awful. I never woulda thought GOB could be so unfunny. Well, it wasn't really Will Arnett, but the other guy that made it really bad. What's his face? Uh, Dax... Shepard? Yeah, him... and the script. Yeah, I think the script was also at fault. I mean, Shepard frames Arnett for a crime and then gets himself arrested so he can enjoy Arnett's "pain". Um, okay. Sounds about as plausible as a straight guy marrying his best friend to gain pension benefits for his family instead of (at the very least) trying to get a girlfriend. However, I doubt that could be the case with this movie. There are waaaaay too many people around here who like it for it to be SUPER bad. I also bought "Reservoir Dogs" for 5 bucks. For those that don't know, I've had a problem with this flick because of all of the racist talk in the film, but I've always loved the story. Since I hadn't seen it in around 10 years, I figured I might've been overreacting. Ya know... just a bit. I mean, I wasn't expecting the "You guys are acting like a buncha n*ggers" line the last time, so it was jaw dropping for me. This time I got through it only to find they made quite a few more than that and I had somehow forgotten all about those! Still, it wasn't all that bad. Maybe it's because I haven't been called a n*gger in about that long. Back then, I had racial tension up the wahzoo! These days... not so much. Gotta love that ending!

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

Rob Zombie's Halloween Unrated, and Hatchet special edition. They're both really good movies. I'm looking at picking up Ichi the Killer because it looks good, and comes with an IV bag of blood.

"Spider-Man": The High Definition Trilogy No. I don't have a Blu-Ray player... yet. I am gettin' a PS3 in a coupla weeks and I've decided that it would be just idiotic to continue buying standard DVDs. I really wanted "The 5th Element" because that movie is just gorgous, but it was my sister's treat and I figured I should probably knock out the more expensive between the 2 since she wasn't coppin' an attitude on price. I ended up getting more than I expected because "Spider-Man 2.1" is also included! With as colorful as these films are I'm in for a visual feast the likes of which I've never seen before! Now... I just gotta wait until I get my friggin' player so I can watch 'em. **Looks at watch** COME ON, MAILMAN! BRING ME THOSE FRIGGIN' W-2'S!

Last night, I picked up: 'Reno 911': The Complete Fourth Season Uncensored "Live Free or Die Hard" "The 5th Element" "Resident Evil"Those last 3 were on Blu-Ray... and they are GORGEOUS! I could tell the difference in picture quality immediatly! I'm not a HUGE fan of "Resident Evil" (it was nothing like the game, but it wasn't bad), but according to the tech experts I've chatted with online, it has one of the most beautiful digital transfers put to Blu-Ray so far! So I HAD to grab it, if just to bask in its beauty. Oh, yeah. I got my Blu-Ray playin' PS3 last night too. **SNIFF** I just... **SNIFF-SNIFF** I just feel so AWESOME right now.

Well, my 6.1 receiver ended up having problems and since it was "Open Box" I couldn't exchange it for another without needing to add money to it. I guess 6.1 surround will have to wait 'til next year. So, I got my money back and bought 5 more Blu-Ray movies! Dinosaur Hellboy (Director's Cut) Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's EndOnce again, movies that have high visual and audio qualities! At the moment, It's ALL about the picture and sound. It's too bad the friggin' things are so expensive. After our income tax refund is spent, it'll probably be a month or so until I can get another one. quote: Originally posted by FragileKidA: Did lil’ Bruce-y look hot in this new format?
Oh, you know it! The craziest thing about this format is that it actually makes standard DVDs look bleached out and faded in comparison! It's like when I first moved to DVD from VHS. You really can tell the difference!
