-Into the Wild
-My Kid Could Paint That
-O Brother, Where Art Thou

I usually buy DVDs when I haven't seen the movie and it seems like it could be a movie that is worth more than 1 views. I could get DVDs used for what it costs to rent a movie at my local movie store so I don't bother renting at all.

Let's see, I got
"Bee Movie"- I forgot to tell Columbia House I didn't want it and the wife wants to keep it.

"Transformers: Beginnings"- I DID IT! I got the prequel to the flippin' movie! Now I can finally find out what happened before [that kid from "I, Robot"] bought Bumblebee. The mystery has been killing me! Eeker I kid. I kid. Big Grin But I was pissed when I had to choose between the bare bones version with the prequel or the special edition without it. Mad I always thought my boy woulda grabbed it, but he went to Target and got the transforming case. I was really pissed when I found out about that! I WANTED A TRANSFORMING CASE THAT TURNS INTO OPTIMUS PRIME!!!!!!!!!! Mad Oh well, now I have the prequel and he doesn't. What a loser! Razzer

"Hero" (1992)- I've always enjoyed this movie and the price was right.

"The Prophecy 3: The Ascent"- I normally don't give direct-to-video sequels a chance to make an impression, but I really enjoyed this little trilogy. I don't have the second... yet, but you can be certain that I'll be gettin' it at some point now that I have the head & tail ends! Wink

"Shoot 'Em Up"- My only Blu buy. There was a sale, but I couldn't afford 2 Blu-rays to get a third for free. Frowner (I would have been able to if the wife woulda let me take an extra 15 bucks, but noooooooo, We gotta pay biiiiills! Roll Eyes) I haven't seen it, but it seems to contain all of the elements of my kinda movie: Action, Guns, Action, Laughs and lotsa Action. I'm hopin' I won't be disappointed!

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

Picked up a legit copy of the Rocky Jones TV series collection. The quality is only slightly better than the boot copy.

I wasted 15 bucks on a Blu version of "Total Recall". The picture quality is exactly the same as the DVD! I wasn't expecting a pristine transfer, but I was at least expecting a small increase in PQ. It says that it's in DTS-HD, but my speakers aren't reacting the way they do with "Shoot 'Em Up", which supposedly has the same quality sound (DTS-HD). It doesn't even have all of the features the DVD has! I'm still deciding if I should keep it or not. This might be a trade-in. I knew I shoulda grabbed a newer movie, but I couldn't resist seeing this movie in HD!
