userdude, you are right on with that one. I think I probably would have loved King Kong had it been like an hour shorter. And tabuno, you are right about Daniel Day-Lewis, no matter how much I don't like that movie, his performance is stunning.
The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Out of respect to Mark R, I'm not going to comment much on your post except to say that I have had a lengthy debate regarding my opinion about how over-rated this movie was for me.

Its definitely long.....I still haven't finished it. Also, I loved There Will Be Blood. Why? I'm not exactly sure. The atmosphere, soundtrack, and pacing of the film seemed to be spot on. And DD Lewis' is good in anything he is in, so I expected him to be great and he came through.
