What movie will you always watch if you see it is on TV? I will always watch 5th element, galaxy quest, shawshank redemption, green mile, searching for bobby fisher. These are necessarily my favorites, but I will always watch them if they are tv
Yeah If I come across Alien or Aliens I'm in it for the long haul. Other notables are The Fly, Shawshank redemption <I still remember the first watch>, Stand by Me and .... Planes Trains and Autos. All good !

When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, Kate and Leopold, While You Were Sleeping, Six Days and Seven Nights, and Office Space.
There are others, but these are my never-get-tired-of-watching favorites, even with commercials! 'n i ain't afraid a sayin' so, so there!
The scene in the church where Sandra Bullock comes clean about the engagement and who she really loves (While You Were Sleeping) always grabs me…I love that girl!
Road House. The ultimate in "so bad it's good" filmmaking. Swayze as a philosophy spouting bouncer who opens up a can of whoopass on a corrupt businessman and his minions for the good of the townsfolk? How can you not love it.
----- I don't dig the Stripes, but I'll go for Har Mar.

I'll watch most movies I like, even if they're "edited for time and content." But one I will actively seek out is Repo Man. The way they edit it is so hillarious it's almost funnier than the original. It's been a while, so maybe the edit has changed, but the way they were doing it about ten years ago was priceless.

I would have to say anything that looks interesting but, that I'm not sure if I want to pay to see it. I have seen some movies that I ended up purchasing because of what I had seen on television. "Bound" is one such movie. I had never seen a preview for it but, had noticed it at the video store. One night, I'm channel surfing & happen onto it right at the opening credits. It was on broadcast television so, it had commercials & I soon got into it so much, I just turned it off & went & bought it. I couldn't believe how much the T.V. version had edited the crap out of it!
Another was "Fear of a Black Hat". Similar to "This is Spinal Tap" in that it's a spoof on musicians in documentary format. Once again stumbled on this baby late at night, this time on Showtime. Some people compare it to "CB4", because it deals with rappers, but, "CB4" had story elements that weren't part of the documentary. This movie is set up completely with intervies with the group & has a hand-held camera through-out. If you're into rap, this movie is for you!
Otherwise, if I already own the movie(which most of the time I do), I'll pop it in to see it in widescreen & have better sound. Just seeinga bit of them on T.V. is usually enough for me to want to just go on ahead & pop in its DVD.

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

Scary Movie (1) is definetly a movie I would watch over again. That and just about any Kevin Smith movie.
Unfortunately, "Scary Movie 1" is never on TV, at least not where I live. Comedy Central is constantly showing 2 for some reason and 3 is on occasionally, but never 1. I watch pretty much anything by Kevin Smith (not counting "Jersey Girl"), though I find it hard to watch all of "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back."
I'm gonna add "Groundhog Day," especially recently.

Remember The Titans is always on TBS... I have the DVD of it, but when I see it on TBS I always watch it anyway. Definitely one of my favorite football movies, tied with Any Given Sunday.
Honey I purely watch for the choreography. MuchMusic Canada frequently airs this flick. I can forego the stupid-cheezeball-drama-relationshippy parts, but I think the movie makes up for all that syrupy goo with its music/choreography.
"The Road Warrior" is an all-time favourite and frequent Sunday afternoon broadcast. Another one, which I am not particularly proud of - but I can't resist, is "The Breakfast Club".
