Well I think of a lot of movie ideas mostly about horses or dragons lol. I don't really know if I want to see the new Flicka film. 2 horses died when filming Anyway if you have any ideas about horses let me know!
Okay,I just watched a PBS doc on the life of Mary Pickford. She was the first "superstar" during the silent film era. Not only was she a famous actress, she also helped start United Artists with Douglas Fairbanks and Charlie Chaplin. She really was a pioneer, not just for movies but for women too, in a time when it was unheard of for women to involved in business. I'd love to see an excellent full-length film about her.
Movie/book idea: The Proper Use of the Telephone. Following a 20-30 something as they jump from one telemarketing agency to another over a series of years during which popular opinion regarding calling people in their homes came into focus (late 80s to today)

Sooo, you want a movie full of trannies? Didn't they do that with "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar"?
"I can't live the buttoned down life like all of you! I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

I'd love to see a documentary made about people who win the lottery. If a filmmaker was really, really lucky, they could catch wind of one of those groups of 10 or 20 or X people who all pitch in $500 toward the Powerball lottery, and sign an agreement to split it if anyone wins.
If they win they could capture the state of, say, 5 people's lives pre-lottery. And then go on to film how things go.
A lot of people who win the lottery end up feeling like they'd signed a deal with the devil. Family structures get torn apart (aunt Sue wants $100,000 to open her own salon, cousin Greg wants $20,000 to move to New York and start a band, all in the interest of turning their lives around, etc.), old friends they never knew they had start hounding them, charitable organizations start making them feel like shit for not contributing half the fortune to United Way or whatever, and on and on.
Not that I would enjoy watching someone's life go down the tubes (though Capturing the Friedmans was excellent), but it could be a sobering kind of real-life fable. And you never know--for someone it might be wonderful, and really enrich their lives and let them blossom as a person.
And I still think a "JFK" (the movie)-style "expose" of the whole UFO phenomenon could be very intriguing. It could be part Oliver Stone (arresting visuals and pacing, fearless ideology) and part Spielberg (childlike, awe-inspiring ideas of wonder given an astute grown-up treatment). I dunno, "JFK" or "Syriana" meets "Close Encounters"? CE was fun, but safe--he never really dipped into the specific mythologies that exist out there. Imagine that sort of film, except dealing with a multi-threaded storyline that traces through the Roswell, Tunguska Event, Majestic 12, Phoenix Lights, etc. myths.
The film JFK was actually able to move Congress to take certain actions; further investigation and de-classification of documents. I think a similar level of legitimate interest and pent-up morbid curiosity exists around the UFO conspiracy theories, as exists around the JFK assassination. The two are very similar; they may never be fully solved, but there's just sooooo much intriguing material (highly respectable witnesses, government officials "coming clean," mysterious and convenient deaths, non-debunk-able film/photographic evidence, etc.) for it to all be total BS. It's no secret at this point that there are some very shadowy, "it's-better-if-you-don't-know" things going on behind the scenes of our governments. I think it's worthy of being given an adult, serious film treatment.

they should make a Gargoyles movie from the old series, i believe the computer graphics used in movies such as spiderman, tmnt are enough to make the Gargoyles movie worth watching.

So, I've actually had quite a bit of movie ideas, but I've been afraid to talk about them for a while. Partly because I thought talking about them while they're still in sketch form would kill the ideas and they wouldn't get made, and I actually thought I could make something of them. Partly I just didn't want them stolen But I think I can trust you guys (and gals.)
Largely I get a lot of ideas to make movies out of music I hear. I just naturally put visuals to the music so it seemed only logical to extend it in the concrete world. TM&A was probably the first one, The Soft Bulletin was another big one. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... just screams to be made into a big time crime epic with an all Black cast.
More specifically there were two big ideas for movies I had. The first was this family, main character is maybe eighteen, he and his family and his girlfriend are all stuck inside because it's been raining really hard for an unusual amount of time, like a few weeks. Not heavy enough to flood anything, just a really constant wetness. It starts with the kid out on his porch smoking a cigarette, it's big on atmosphere I think that's why there's the unexplained rain. And it's mostly how all these people deal with being couped up for a long time, and that kind of indie "rain" atmosphere, you know? Ha. And the other one came when I had all this schoolwork to do or I'd basically fail, and I told a friend of mine more seriously than he thought that it would be easier to just kill myself than do it all, that's how much I didn't want to do it. And he joked "Heh, even YOU'RE not that lazy, Sean." And I thought if that were a movie the next shot should be the character in a closet blowing his brains out. The contrast would be really blunt and unexpected, you know. So then it's me at my own funeral like, as a spirit, and I go around and talk to all these people I know, my friends, a teacher I'm really close to, and lastly my ex. Like, I think there's a kind of veneer everyone has that prevents them from being 100% honest, and how if there's truly nothing left to lose it can come off. And I grow to regret what happened and realize a bunch of shit but it's too late. I actually think that could be a really good film if executed right. Welp, just sayin'.
This is an idea for a movie that has been at the back of my head for sometime.
A young lady wearing glasses has just gotten off the bus stop. She has her dark hair wrapped around in a ponytail. She is approached by a man from out of nowhere and is told by the man "Harold says he loves you". The young lady is surprised by the man's reply and ask what he meant by it. He tells her that he has been saying the same thing to every woman he met that had dark hair and wore glasses. She then ask him how long he has been doing it and he tells her almost 10 years now. She ask him why he does it. He tells her that he was doing it at as favour to a friend. She then seats down with the man and asks the man to tell her about the friend.
The stranger tells her the story of Harold who was in love with Laura. Laura saw Harold like a big brother. Harold not wishing to destroy his relationship with Laura was happy with the fact that as long as he could be near her he would be fine.Harold then learns one day that Laura was going to marry her high school sweetheart. Harold not wishing Laura to leave him was going to confess to her how he much he felt about her. On his way, he is struck down by a car and goes into a deep coma. He emerges from the coma after a year and a half. He learns that Laura had married already and left to parts unknown. Harold heartbroken decides to leave his family and join enlist in the Navy. After his enlistment, he decides to become a merchant sailor. He travels around the world for 10 years. He learns about different cultures and their languages. Throughout his travels, Harold is unable to forget Laura and what he wanted to say. Harold not wishing to die until his confession is heard befriends people in different countries. He tells them his story of regret and tells them to pass a message to any woman who had dark-hair and wore glasses. The message: "Harold says he loves you".
The woman is touched by the story and decides to pass Harold's message. We then move on to different people from different countries saying in their own language "Harold says he loves you". Somewhere in the South of France we see a woman with her three children. She has a long dark hair and glasses. She is watching her children play on the beach. A man approaches her from nowhere and tells her in French "Harold says he loves you". The woman pauses for a minute and ask the man if she knows Harold. The man seats down next down to the woman and tells her the story behind the message.

So what do YOU want to see? Let's hear it.
I would pay twice the ticket price to see any normal movie with normal charachters and normal story plot, and no ibviously midless absurd BS in it(IRONY).
To be an enjoyable movie, it has to follow those simple naturally rational patterns that any normal human above the age of 5 years old knows about, mainly becosue was born in a normal family, but the whole Hollywood seems to be strangely unaware:
Teenagers above 18 are still virgins if unmarried, goodlooking, loving and caring become all intelligent couples who are willing to get married, start their own family and find themselves a good job. They do not become suddenly drug addicts, alcoholics, sexual perverts, homosexuals, prostitutes or pornstars, or criminals or terrorists.
Parents are normal intelligent people, loving and caring, they do not divorce, do not become criminals, alcoholics or drug addicts, criminals or terrorists, and never have reason to fight with their intelligent and selfconscious children. They communicate in a relaxed and serious way between them and with children, teaching them how to recognise and avoid mentally sick degenertaed perverts.
The plot would be absolutely normally based on the well known formula of logical cause - effect, with the beginning, the intercourse and the rational ending. Absolutely linear dualogues would be explaining everything without any BS, and making easy to follow for the wiever what exactly happens and especially why.
Really miisng this kind of realistic good old movies.
I would like to see a movie made from The Legend of Zelda. The game has been one of the best loved for decades. Anyone who grew up with a Nintendo gets a smile on their face when Zelda comes up in a conversation. Now that Hollywood is making movies from every cartoon, comic book, and game they can get their hands on, this would be a good time. I of course, just being an average Joe, would have no say in how this movie would be created, but I have some ideas. I realize that Link is suppose to be a good-hearted elf boy questing to vanquish evil and save the princess, but the movie would work better if Link had more of a Die Hard feel to him; battle scared and surly. A dark champion. (Work with me here). He doesn't want to go on the adventure, he’s had enough of that. He just wants to be left in his own misery and self-loathing. But things keep happening that he instinctively reacts to and can't help but pull himself in deeper. He can’t understand how he keeps getting talked into this. The movie can have a real human feel when the adventure takes him places he has to fight and struggle to survive. Show the emotion of taking those long roads and exploring the dungeons. Another thing to give it a more human feel is, in the darker moments, put in flashbacks to when he was just an elf boy starting out. The way Link was originally created. This would feel like more of an original link gone wrong. Some of the other characters would have to be developed as well, like the magi and the princess. The princess should definitely be sexier. Not a scantily clad bimbo with big boobes, more of a strong, overwhelmingly appealing woman. Someone who makes your brain go dumb and you heart skip. Of course he would have to go through a few dungeons and if done well can be a real draw to action junkies. Some could be dark, dank, and winding. Others could be elaborate and gleaming. And all would have monsters galore. The action shouldn’t be a shoot 'em up or battle royal kind of thing; more skill, agility, and wit would be the thing. Have him in the trenches with detailed, dangerous beasts, demons, and other assorted monsters. He would have to fight and think his way through the dungeons. This would allow the addition of some of the well remembered tactics from the game, such as finding the crack in the wall that can be blown with the bomb and the pillar that has to be moved to open the door. This should be subtle, gamers will get it. It would also allow the demonstration of the real life mechanics of all his special toys (you can’t get through that game without the boomerang). You could even string this out over several movies, which would give the opportunity for upgrading his weapons and armor over the process. At this point I hate to represent my idea by piecing it together from other movies, but sometimes it’s just the best way to get your idea across. So all it all it would be a Die Hard(character and humor) meets Serenity(plot style) meets 300 (monster detail) meets Bourne Identity (action and cunning). I’ld watch that.
I've already written a screenplay for a Legend of Zelda movie, but to my dismay, it will never be made. I don't know what their plan is, but Nintendo refuses to allow a film to be made about the game. In an email I received from Nintendo, they are "currently not accepting unsolicited screenplays for a Zelda movie." I think they are holding out for a huge deal (award-winning director, huge budget, awardwinning screenwriter, etc.) My script has been read by many people, and they all love it, yet Nintendo still refuses. So as nice as it would be, I wouldn't hold my breath.

If it's so unlikely to be filmed, you should link to some passages from your script; sounds interesting.
I've wanted to read Joss Whedon's rejected Wonder Woman script for some time, but I can't find it online...
