Alright fine, I'll start. I would like to see a movie based on the book "Bringing Down the House". No, I'm not referring to the Steve Martin/Queen Latifa movie, I'm talking about the book about those MIT kids who went to Vegas and made millions of dollars counting cards at Blackjack tables. Hopefully someone in here has read this book and agrees with me. And by the way, I heard there was a Rounders 2, sequel to Rounders with Matt Damon and Ed Norton, already made. Anyone hear anything about that? K-Dog

I dream of adapting the Epic of Gilgamesh for a two part movie! Special effects and makeup are finally up to par to bring Enkidu to life realistically and this is one of the oldest stories out there, yet could be on heck of a fantastic movie!

Id always dreamed of (and dreaded) the day someone would turn Chopper Read's books into a movie. My dreams were realised with this fantastic film that came out a couple of years ago. I cannot recommend this film enough. If you are not in Australia, do all you can to get your hands on a copy; you wont regret it.

Stranger in a Strange Land! Don't know why that hasn't been done. With todays sfx it would be awesome!

To the Lighthouse or The Years by Woolf. Character-driven movie, almost plotless even.

Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein is a great suggestion! The script would have to be excellent though! I always wanted to see Frank Miller's the Dark Knight Returns made into a movie. Now I hear it will happen, but too late for me! I wanted to see Jack Palance as old man Batman!

Im currently making a movie with my friends called "Robearto El Negro". If they follow my script itll be an intelligently written hitman thriller. If we decide to improvise its gonna be a profane waste of time. Were making a website with Dreamweaver and hopefully itll be pretty cool. I have decent taste when it comes to this stuff, but my friend the real "director" wants us to say "f***" every other word which i dont like to do, and to litter the soundtrack with punk and emo. Im going for a score. He's going for "Green Day". So the success of our movie largely rides on the script and how it's shot which is the same as any movie.

Well, again thats the difference between me and my friends. I wanna make it as proffessional as possible, maybe not submit it to festivals, but gain a reputation. They just want to screw around with their editing software.

Eccentro, what is your movie about? And did you write it? I've wanted to make a movie (an attempt at a "real" movie) but my friend, the only one I told, the one with the video camera, was against the idea. She would be a really good person to work with on a movie though and I know no one else with a video camera. I sometimes imagine some plots and camera shots and angles; I was thinking of at least one film being a documentary. I think of a lot of stories and angles, not all of them get finnished though (not all of what I do creatively gets finnished either.)

MY movie idea has to do with a short story Im writing which i will translate to a screen play. Its called "The Perversion of Everyday Life". Its much akin to Ghost World in its sarcastic tone, but not my idea is much more excluded if you wanna see how the actual story is coming along heres the link http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/6810025/tis in rough format so shalt not be tooooo critical.

Yes, There is an Ender's Game movie in production. Its looking good too. Its being directed by Wolfgang Petersen (Das Boot, Troy, The Perfect Storm, Air Force One) but the best thing is that the screenplay is written by Orson Scott Card! So we can definately expect a good script. Its expected to be realeased in 2006 and I agree, they will need to find some good kid actors.
